Hockey Games
Odessa is home to the Jackalopes Hockey team. This team is part of the North American Hockey League and plays at the Ector County Coliseum. These games are known in the area to be a blast. They’re loud and action packed! Go JACKS!
Mountain Biking
The Permian Basin Mountain Bike Association has a featured park in Odessa. Odessa’s Mountain Bike Park is located off of Eastridge Road behind the fire station. This park features dozens of trails ranging from beginner to advanced. It’s riddled with curves and jumps!
Golfing
Odessa proudly boasts 4 beautiful golf courses on the North and East sides of town. With several options to chose from, golfers in Odessa can sneak a round in before or after work and never miss a minute of the action. Check out the dozens of tournaments that happen each year!
Rodeos
The Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo is one of the largest events each year. This Rodeo features professional bull riding events and one of the largest stock shows in this region. This event regularly brings in 10s of thousands of patrons every year.
Concerts
Odessa has a premier new music venue, that’s not so new. The Ector Theater has been newly renovated by Eoff Enterprises. This facility is now one of the nicest concert venues in West Texas. The Ector has a star spangled line up for the foreseeable future, with something every week.

Odessa is in the heart of West Texas. We’re proud to boast our large Hispanic community and their delicious foods. Odessa has dozens of incredible Tex-Mex options available, and our food truck scene is just starting to blossom. There is no better place to find good food!
